Osteopathy is an holistic healthcare profession focused on the musculoskeletal system and its connection to overall health and well-being. Practitioners take a whole-person approach, considering how different parts of the body interact and how lifestyle factors might contribute to a patient's dysfunction or pain, then ultimately look to improve mobility and function in order to reduce pain and make you feel better.
Although once considered a purely hands on modality, you'll find many Osteopaths utilising a personalised treatment approach combining manual techniques aswell as movement and exercise rehab prescription off the treatment table.
