  • Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that aims to ameliorate pain and improve mobility, function and wellbeing by using personalised treatment approaches after thorough assessment.

    • joints - stiffness, pain, movement restriction, osteoarthritis

    • soft tissue - ligament sprains, tendinopathies, muscle strains

    • back/neck pain and associated nerve or referred pain

    • general aches

    • sports injuries

    • repetitive strain injuries

    • cervicogenic headaches

    • pre and post operative rehab - joint replacements, ligament repairs or reconstruction, meniscal repairs

    • injury prevention- screening and treatment for any limitation in joint range/muscle length or imbalances in strength/control

  • Treatments are designed specifically for each patient based on their presentation, lifestyle, goals and nature and irritability of their pain or dysfunction.

    Treatments include but are not limited to:

    • manual techniques- massage, joint mobilisations, Muscle Energy Techniques, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation

    • traditional acupuncture and electroacupuncture

    • acupuncture of trigger points

    • electrotherapy- ultrasound, Interferential Therapy

    • exercise prescription

    • advice on posture, movement and lifestyle
